Recent Library Projects

Children's Library,
Dunfermline Carnegie Library 

 In late 2005 Fife Council refurbished the Childrens Library within the Dunfermline Carnegie Central Library.  The room had very high ceilings and so strong colours were used and we were asked to provide suitable furniture that would complement the room yet break up the long wall runs.

This was done using triangular shelving units jutting out into the room that had an integrated childs reading seat and a display area at upper level.

Product used in this project was as follows.

• Bookspace wood based shelving in Maple with intermittent coloured back panels, shelves and header panels
