Recent Library Projects

University of Stirling
Highland Health Sciences Library, Inverness 

In October 2006 the University moved to a brand new facility for their Centre for Health Science within the grounds of Raigmore Hospital in Inverness.   

The design brief required existing shelving and service counter which were only a few years old, to be re-used within the new facility.  The counter was relocated with an additional tear drop extension added for DDA compliance.  The existing F2000 shelving was re-used as part of a F2000 mobile unit with additional new shelving throughout the rest of the library. 

The project also required furniture for teaching rooms, IT areas and offices. 

Product used in this project was as follows.

• F2000 shelving for both the mobile and the static shelving

• Mobel Linea K4 desking for Teaching Rooms, Study and IT Desks

• Mobel Linea E2 & E3 desking for Offices

• Feniks, Olivia and Welcome study chairs and stools

• Inspiral easy seating
