Kinnaird Primary School, Falkirk
This new build school hosted their official opening on the 16th May 2008 to celebrate three schools coming together on one site. Children's author and poet Jonathan Meres enthralled the children and invited guests in the library as we were given a tour of the school by the Primary school children.
The design reflected the use from nursery through Primary to Special school. Design considerations were given to the flexibility to hold events but also to make use of technology in the form of computers access and a school Smart Board.
